The small village of Mt. Laguna is set high above San Diego in the heart of the Cleveland National Forest. At its peak, Mt. The mountain is the perfect playground for hiking, mountain biking, camping, family activities, star gazing, or just relaxing.
Residents are few (just 70) in this mountain hamlet, but the views they enjoy are spectacular. Eastern views expand to the Salton Sea and drop 2000 feet down sheer cliffs to the Anza Borrego Desert. To the west, on clear days, the city of San Diego as well as the Pacific Ocean can be seen from roadway turnouts and mountain hillside trails.
Mt Laguna real estate primarily consists small log cabins built between 1930 and 1960, ideal for weekend living in a mountain getaway.
