In rural eastern San Diego County is the unincorporated village of Boulevard, a place where you�ll find wonderful 360 degree panoramic views of valleys and mountain ranges and crisp, clean mountain air. Boulevard is situated nearly equidistant between downtown San Diego and El Centro, just off I-8 and Highway 94 (or Old US Highway 80). It is southeast of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, just north of the Mexico border, and just 45 minutes from El Cajon.

Many of Boulevard�s homes were built in the 1920s and 1930s, but newer homes with more up-to-date amenities also dot the boulder-strewn hillsides. Currently, Boulevard real estate includes median home prices of $350,000 with three-bedroom homes beginning in the low $300,000s. A number of homes are weekend or vacation homes; many are on tree-lined smaller lots, while others include enough acreage for small farms or ranching.

Boulevard weekend residents enjoy the nearby Viejas Resort and outlet shopping mall, shopping treks across the Mexico border, and hiking and camping in Anza-Borrego Park. Nearby Jacumba�s Hot Springs Spa also draws tourists and residents alike. Schools are in nearby Manzanita and Jacumba. Mountain Empire Unified School District serves Boulevard and surrounding areas of San Diego�s East County.
