Carmel Valley is located on the northern edge of San Diego, east of the I-5 and Del Mar.  Based on a master plan developed in 1974, building began in 1983 and the area now offers a variety of luxury homes, townhouses, condominiums, and apartments situated on the mesas leaving the canyons as open space.
